BRITTANY DJIE was born and raised in the hot and humid city of Houston, Texas, which has always been beneficial to the volume of her hair and her ability to withstand warm climates. The Houston native graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a BFA in Acting, and studied European Theatre Performance and Devising abroad at Rose Bruford College (London) and the Estonian Academy of Music and Drama (Tallinn). Brittany is a SAG-AFTRA actress, who has worked in front of and behind the camera for the past 10 years, appearing in and supporting the production of numerous commercials, indie films and plays. While acting was her first love, she is thrilled to continue exploring storytelling from a writer/ director’s POV. Her writing credits include ’25 and Married’, a webseries based on her first year of marital bliss (co-written and produced with her talented husband, Nicholas Mills); directing (theatre) includes scenes from Peer Gynt, Naomi in the Living Room, Purgatorio, and Dead Man’s Cellphone. When Brittany’s not feeding her creative passion, she often indulges in suspending herself from ceilings (aerial arts), a cold glass of Almond Milk Bubble Tea and (yes, really) taking her cat for a walk.
